Freightliner has power but wonpercent27t start Jun 5, 2015 · hello, I have a 1996 freightliner fl70 with cat 3126. we didn't start this for about 8 months and normally it starts right up but this time it cranked fine but no start. started on ether but died. so I guess no fuel which is controlled by the ECM? (mine is the 40 or 42 pin though I don't know how you remove the connectors. my check engine light ... My Journey 2002, Freightliner CCC, *** ISB 8.3, Allison 2000, pulled up to a stop light and without warning stalled, dead. The engine stopped like the key was turned off. No dash lights, no head lights, nothing that I can find on the chassis has power. Checking to see if you have fuel in the filter first may save your arm, if it's not full fill it and then start pumping, leave the bleed plug open a little and when fuel runs out of it close it and pump some more, then try starting it again.
